I know, I know, You don't need to say it. But I do have an excuse for the large gap between posts...I've moved house. Never again. It. Was. HELL. Up and down stairs, lifting things, packing things, unpacking things, driving with a full load, finding room for everything, sorting, and throwing stuff out. I managed to give three bags of things to charity, so far. That's just from clothes, shoes and a few nic-nacs. I've still got books, boxes and lots of other stuff to go through.

We used the vouchers from the wedding gifts to buy new bedroom furniture which will be delivered between 12pm and 6pm on Monday. Both of us are work so my sister will have to come sit in the house and wait. There were some nice, good, comfy sofas here when we moved so we have kept those and we are going to Ikea on Saturday for linen and decoration and maybe a dining table.

The house is great but it will be better once all our stuff is sorted and we make it more homely. It's got a living room, study, conservatory which will be our dining room, large kitchen, utility area, garage, downstairs bathroom, upstairs bathroom, two large bedrooms and one small bedroom. Anyway, in other things, work has been busy, my family came back from Greece, where my nephew was christened last week and I go on my honeymoon next Wednesday. Yippee!

Hi guys, this is going to be a really quick blog before my laptop dies on me. I just wanted to let my visitors know I am not dead and the wedding entry is on it's way however I'm doing it as a page rather that a blog entry as it's something I'd like viewers to see all the time rather than searching through my blog. I've just had such a shitty week at work that I have been either too tired or too fed up or too annoyed with computers to want to come on here! I actually cried at my desk yesterday.

On another note I had a lovely weekend with my mom last week. The spa trip was great, the food was delicious and the bed was so comfy. We did however get lost on the way there and I ended up turning round, going home and getting a taxi! But it was so relaxing and chilled. And instead of going swimming or in the sauna, we sat and drank wine and ate tuna sandwiches and curley fries.

OMG! Thank you so much for the Resume function on a laptop. It just died and I thought I had lost my whole entire blog. Woot. Either way I'm keeping this short as I have a head ache (again). I just want to say a big thanks for all the comments. I'll be returning them over the weekend and Em your swallows look fantastic! Also I added some new pages last weekend, updated the .org page and also added some new scarlinks so go check them out! I am now going to die on the sofa and wait until my husband and I watch The Strangers.

Well here it is: the long awaited new layout. I've spent all day on my computer updating the whole of caribouandcake.org, not just my blog but all my fanlistings and other bits too. I've sorted out all my computer and moved everything of mine on to my new external hard drive that Craig bought me. Hopefully it will make the computer run quicker. I didn't realise how much stuff I had on this machine! I'm so tired I just want a cup of tea and my bed.

As I mentioned in a previous blog entry I just haven't had time to do anything but also haven't felt like wanting to either. I left University last December and in January got a full time job as an Administrator, which means I sit in front of a computer from 8am till 5/6pm, Monday to Friday. By the time I'd got home, washed and ate, I just didn’t have the energy to blog or update. But I'm starting to manage my time better and will not be going on the missing list like that again. I don't want to make this blog too long as it will get boring, but I just want to quickly tell you what I've been up to:

It's less than three months till my wedding. I can't believe how quick it's come round. Everything is coming together and there's just the final few things still to get done.

On Wednesday just gone, I passed my driving test!! It was the second time but I was so please with how I drove, all I cared was that I had passed. i got away with one minor, which is amazing according to my BSM instructor. Craig sold my car so I need to look for another one and then I can start riding around everywhere.

This time last Sunday I was watching Panic at the Disco at the Birmingham Academy.. I wasn't overly impressed: their new album is very Beatle-esque, a band which I'm not overly keep on, and they didn't even perform for an hour after they kept us waiting for almost forty minutes. I also went to see My Ruin in January and, as always, they were fantastic. Not a bad word to say about them!

So here is the new layout! It's actually been up now since last night, I just decided to do some uni work instead of blogging (look at me priortising!). I'm really happy with how it's all turned out. I know I said that I was completely re-vamping it and most visitors probably thought I was going to create something new, but to me it is a re-vamp. I've gone away from manual blogging and changed my pages from .html to .php. Some pages have been updated with new info and some have been removed all together from my section and the old archives. Cutenews wouldn't have really been possible without Gwen. I know I thanked her in the last post but she helped me again to sort the categories out. I also have a new domain! I bought glamour-puss.org and moved all of the Kitten von Mew stuff over there. Plus I have two new fanlistings for Babycham and KatieJane Garside go join if you like them!


It's been a while since I posted anything none site related. Uni is ok, though I'm really busy with it as I have an extra lesson this year so I have a lot of extra work. I'm not really enjoying THS as much as I did when I first started. The teacher doesn't like anyone is my group. He either doesn't ask us questions or doesn't let us speak, which is extremely annoying seeing as he is giving us a point for each thing we say. I'll end up with nil at the end of the semester.


Work isn't too bad either, just hard and very tiring. Sometimes I get home and I have to have a nap. I only do three four hour shifts and I got home after one Saturday and feel asleep in my uniform for two hours!


Wedding plans are going well. The suits are sorted, work has been started on the first bridemaid dress, I got a quote for the flowers and Craig and I saw our photographer on Wednesday just gone.


In other news Craig and I celebrated our 4th anniversary on September 29th. We went to see Rob Zombie's Halloween - awesome, just awesome. I had some very upsetting news though on Monday: my aunty died. She had a fall and hit her head. She was rushed to hospital but there were complications and she had a heart attack. Her funeral was yesterday, but it was in Spain. My Mom went and came back today. I just couldn't believe what I was hearing when I was being told. She was only 45 and there was nothing wrong with her. My Mom and I had been to visit just a few weeks prior and my sister had been to see her for two weeks a few days before. It just seemed so unfair. Her life was cut short.
