I know, I know, You don't need to say it. But I do have an excuse for the large gap between posts...I've moved house. Never again. It. Was. HELL. Up and down stairs, lifting things, packing things, unpacking things, driving with a full load, finding room for everything, sorting, and throwing stuff out. I managed to give three bags of things to charity, so far. That's just from clothes, shoes and a few nic-nacs. I've still got books, boxes and lots of other stuff to go through.

We used the vouchers from the wedding gifts to buy new bedroom furniture which will be delivered between 12pm and 6pm on Monday. Both of us are work so my sister will have to come sit in the house and wait. There were some nice, good, comfy sofas here when we moved so we have kept those and we are going to Ikea on Saturday for linen and decoration and maybe a dining table.

The house is great but it will be better once all our stuff is sorted and we make it more homely. It's got a living room, study, conservatory which will be our dining room, large kitchen, utility area, garage, downstairs bathroom, upstairs bathroom, two large bedrooms and one small bedroom. Anyway, in other things, work has been busy, my family came back from Greece, where my nephew was christened last week and I go on my honeymoon next Wednesday. Yippee!

Well, once again it's been an incredibly long time since I last made any contact with the world wide web. It's gotten a little bit tiring to be coming on the computer to blog or update after spending 9 hours in front of a pc, Monday to Friday, every week, every month for the last seven months!

So yes, I am now a Mrs. I got married on June 7th. I can't believe it's been almost nine weeks! I also moved in with my husband, obviously - I think it would be a little weird living with my Mom whilst married . I haven't uploaded any photos but they are on the photographers website here and my bridesmaid Lucy added some too here.

I haven't really got much to update you on to be honest. Too much has happened since the last time I blogged to fit it all in. It was my birthday last Friday and thank you to my hunnie Gwen for my e-card. I will be celebrating with my lovelies on Saturday and will show the picks as soon as I put them on Facebook.com. Cheerio!

Ooo, it's been a while again. Sorry for that, but with work and the wedding and birthdays, it's difficult to find time to blog.

A few things have happened since the last time I blogged. I've moved house: I now live with Craig. Wedding plans are almost complete: there's just a couple of things left to pay and do. I had my hen night: 80s fancy dress and Reflex, pictures coming soon!

Everything is pretty much coming together really. I've taken on two projects: to make my own order of services and present/card box. I did the favours yesterday; all one hundred of them and bought my bridesmaids jewellery and put them in little pink boxes. I bought my earrings, so they match my necklace and tiara and I ordered the girls headbands to match my tiara too. I've also decided to have flower girls so I bought their baskets yesterday as well as some silk rose petals, diamante sprays and ribbon to decorate the baskets with.

My dress is ready to be collected on the 6th June and the guys collect their suits on 5th. My dad is flying over on the Thursday night before and my grandparents fly over the Thursday morning. We have our run through at the church on the day before at 2.30pm. I can't believe how quick it's come round!

It's my moms birthday today and my nephews first birthday tomorrow, so we are having a party at my moms house today for them both. I'm going to go and get breakfast. I'll return the comments either tonight or tomorrow! xxx

People are such idiots. I dropped by my site today so I could blog and I noticed that my blog had gone and been replaced with soe sort of Syntax Error. Turns out I'd been hacked. They didn't do a very good job of it though as it's all back up and running. A few bits still need tweaking but I'll do that on my own computer as all my website stuff it at home on my external hard drive. I'll also return comments later on today.

Anyway, I'd like you all to meet Norma; my first car!



Ain't she a beauty? She's a K Reg Vauxall Nova, 1.2 Merit Plus. It came with 16" black alloys and a very loud exhaust. Her doors are a bit rusty but I've got two spare ones, plus a few extra bits like a bumper, lights and spoiler. I got her yesterday from Cannock and she cost me £350. I'm not 100% confident at driving her by myself as it's an old car and is completely different to the brand new Corsa I've been driving.

Well here it is: the long awaited new layout. I've spent all day on my computer updating the whole of caribouandcake.org, not just my blog but all my fanlistings and other bits too. I've sorted out all my computer and moved everything of mine on to my new external hard drive that Craig bought me. Hopefully it will make the computer run quicker. I didn't realise how much stuff I had on this machine! I'm so tired I just want a cup of tea and my bed.

As I mentioned in a previous blog entry I just haven't had time to do anything but also haven't felt like wanting to either. I left University last December and in January got a full time job as an Administrator, which means I sit in front of a computer from 8am till 5/6pm, Monday to Friday. By the time I'd got home, washed and ate, I just didn’t have the energy to blog or update. But I'm starting to manage my time better and will not be going on the missing list like that again. I don't want to make this blog too long as it will get boring, but I just want to quickly tell you what I've been up to:

It's less than three months till my wedding. I can't believe how quick it's come round. Everything is coming together and there's just the final few things still to get done.

On Wednesday just gone, I passed my driving test!! It was the second time but I was so please with how I drove, all I cared was that I had passed. i got away with one minor, which is amazing according to my BSM instructor. Craig sold my car so I need to look for another one and then I can start riding around everywhere.

This time last Sunday I was watching Panic at the Disco at the Birmingham Academy.. I wasn't overly impressed: their new album is very Beatle-esque, a band which I'm not overly keep on, and they didn't even perform for an hour after they kept us waiting for almost forty minutes. I also went to see My Ruin in January and, as always, they were fantastic. Not a bad word to say about them!
