I made it back from Ireland on Monday but have either been to tired/busy/occupied to blog. Ireland was fun, though it rained most of the time we were there but it was great to get away from the hussle and bussle of Birmingham and see my Dad. I met my Dad's girlfriend for the first time too and although the reason for the being together is the reason my parents are not together anymore, I found Dee very pleasent, funny and easy to get along with. She made us feel very welcome and what's more my Dad seems happy. I just wish my Mom could enjoy some happyness with someone too. We stayed at St. Anthony's B&B which Dee owns.

There wasn't a huge lot to do there because of the weather but we went into town and did some shopping, went to quite a few pubs - Craig had Guiness but it makes me feel sick - and took a few walks. We also played a lot of pool, which I'm not very good at but I did play darts and wooped ass!



I hope everyone else had a good weekend and thanks for all the comments. I'm actually off to a heath spa until tomorrow afternoon with my Mom, so I will return every comment when I'm back. I'll also add some new content and just for Gwen, I'll add some wedding details :) x

Ooo, it's been a while again. Sorry for that, but with work and the wedding and birthdays, it's difficult to find time to blog.

A few things have happened since the last time I blogged. I've moved house: I now live with Craig. Wedding plans are almost complete: there's just a couple of things left to pay and do. I had my hen night: 80s fancy dress and Reflex, pictures coming soon!

Everything is pretty much coming together really. I've taken on two projects: to make my own order of services and present/card box. I did the favours yesterday; all one hundred of them and bought my bridesmaids jewellery and put them in little pink boxes. I bought my earrings, so they match my necklace and tiara and I ordered the girls headbands to match my tiara too. I've also decided to have flower girls so I bought their baskets yesterday as well as some silk rose petals, diamante sprays and ribbon to decorate the baskets with.

My dress is ready to be collected on the 6th June and the guys collect their suits on 5th. My dad is flying over on the Thursday night before and my grandparents fly over the Thursday morning. We have our run through at the church on the day before at 2.30pm. I can't believe how quick it's come round!

It's my moms birthday today and my nephews first birthday tomorrow, so we are having a party at my moms house today for them both. I'm going to go and get breakfast. I'll return the comments either tonight or tomorrow! xxx

So here is the new layout! It's actually been up now since last night, I just decided to do some uni work instead of blogging (look at me priortising!). I'm really happy with how it's all turned out. I know I said that I was completely re-vamping it and most visitors probably thought I was going to create something new, but to me it is a re-vamp. I've gone away from manual blogging and changed my pages from .html to .php. Some pages have been updated with new info and some have been removed all together from my section and the old archives. Cutenews wouldn't have really been possible without Gwen. I know I thanked her in the last post but she helped me again to sort the categories out. I also have a new domain! I bought glamour-puss.org and moved all of the Kitten von Mew stuff over there. Plus I have two new fanlistings for Babycham and KatieJane Garside go join if you like them!


It's been a while since I posted anything none site related. Uni is ok, though I'm really busy with it as I have an extra lesson this year so I have a lot of extra work. I'm not really enjoying THS as much as I did when I first started. The teacher doesn't like anyone is my group. He either doesn't ask us questions or doesn't let us speak, which is extremely annoying seeing as he is giving us a point for each thing we say. I'll end up with nil at the end of the semester.


Work isn't too bad either, just hard and very tiring. Sometimes I get home and I have to have a nap. I only do three four hour shifts and I got home after one Saturday and feel asleep in my uniform for two hours!


Wedding plans are going well. The suits are sorted, work has been started on the first bridemaid dress, I got a quote for the flowers and Craig and I saw our photographer on Wednesday just gone.


In other news Craig and I celebrated our 4th anniversary on September 29th. We went to see Rob Zombie's Halloween - awesome, just awesome. I had some very upsetting news though on Monday: my aunty died. She had a fall and hit her head. She was rushed to hospital but there were complications and she had a heart attack. Her funeral was yesterday, but it was in Spain. My Mom went and came back today. I just couldn't believe what I was hearing when I was being told. She was only 45 and there was nothing wrong with her. My Mom and I had been to visit just a few weeks prior and my sister had been to see her for two weeks a few days before. It just seemed so unfair. Her life was cut short.
